imagine life is like a game. the goal is to arrange an infinite number of elements of reality according to our vision or imagination, with the given challenge that everything is in constant motion. like making a song or painting an artwork (only the paint never dries). now you can see how understanding balance is a key element if not the most important element in our experience of life as creative beings.
balance also speaks of duality and contrast. this means understanding that for every thing we can see, there is something we cannot see. and this is where spirituality comes into play. not as a tool for morality, but as a tool to see (or rather experience) what is unseen. a way to know what sits behind reality in order to move our pieces at will.
