Maria-Victoria Londono-Becerra was born in Bogota, Colombia, and currently lives in Paris, France. She is a doctor in philosophy, specialized in the intersections of embodiment, spatiality, and materiality in relation to sex and gender issues. She is a teaching fellow at Sciences Po, where she teaches classes on aesthetics, and social and political philosophy. For the past four years, Maria-Victoria has developed a practice of ceramics, that has aimed to materialized some of her philosophical inquiries into tangible forms. Her ceramic artifacts delve into themes of normality, normalization, and undisciplined material practices.
